A wonderful mix of jazz, pop, one tune that says “country” and some good old New Orleans trombone leading the pack – just reflects the background of the artist. Rosita defines her own music “gypsy” music; she constantly needs to move and explore new environments to find inspiration, like in “Northern Sky”, her first album.
“Rosita is kind of a sultry Euro-bohemian chanteuse with a kind of magical style,” said her friend and collaborator, singer Carol Lipnik. “She’s always working with great musicians and it’s fun to come and hear her and see what she’s going to be wearing —she’s also quite the clotheshorse! And she loves hats.”
